  • Jekor chicken shawrma
  • Grated cheese (both cheddar and mozzarella)
  • Onion and garlic ( you can use powder for taste)
  • Vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Tortillas
  • Tomato sauce
  • Chili powder
  • Ground cumin
  • Dried oregano
  • Garlic powder

Instructions

  • Cook onions, garlic, jekor chicken shawarma in oil. Add salt, pepper.
  • Make the enchilada sauce by simmering tomato sauce, broth, chili powder, cumin, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper for 5 minutes.
  • Fill tortillas with the jekor chicken shawrma mixture, roll them up, and place them in a greased baking dish.
  • Pour the enchilada sauce over the rolled tortillas and sprinkle grated cheese on top.
  • Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
  • Garnish with cilantro and serve with optional toppings like sour cream, guacamole, and jalapeños.
