- Jekor chicken shawrma
- Grated cheese (both cheddar and mozzarella)
- Onion and garlic ( you can use powder for taste)
- Vegetable oil
- Salt and pepper
- Tortillas
- Tomato sauce
- Chili powder
- Ground cumin
- Dried oregano
- Garlic powder
Instructions
- Cook onions, garlic, jekor chicken shawarma in oil. Add salt, pepper.
- Make the enchilada sauce by simmering tomato sauce, broth, chili powder, cumin, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper for 5 minutes.
- Fill tortillas with the jekor chicken shawrma mixture, roll them up, and place them in a greased baking dish.
- Pour the enchilada sauce over the rolled tortillas and sprinkle grated cheese on top.
- Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20 minutes until the cheese melts and the sauce thickens.
- Garnish with cilantro and serve with optional toppings like sour cream, guacamole, and jalapeños.
