Jekor started production frozen processed meat as of 2001. The brand started with an annual capacity of 100 tons to reach today more than 30,000 tons yearly making more than 50 food products. Quality, and safety of production have been part of its value preposition since its very first days. This is clearly projected in its operations and productions. These operations consist of 4 main sections.
- Preparation section: Basic materials and raw materials for production are prepared here. Jekor imports its raw materials and Halal meat from its suppliers and get to prepare its production material in this section
- Production section: This is the biggest section in the plant and consists of more than 10 production lines equipped with modern and advanced machineries supplied from the world pioneers in the food production industry including Germany, Netherlands, and Japan.
- Flavoring and Mixing Section: In this section Jekor prepares its secret recipes like seasoning and flavorings to give Jekor its sign of excellence and genuine Iraqi taste. With that being said Jekor offers a variety of products and product categories including crispy chicken, nuggets, shawarma, meat balls, sambuusa, spring rolls, and much more. Jekor is keen to clean its machineries by using food cleaning machinery approved by World Health Organization (WHO). These machineries are used for sterilization. At the beginning of day, sterilization material are used to secure a 100% hygiene machinery. Jekor is thus keen to guarantee and obtain the highest level of food safety and quality. Also, Jekor factories adopt advanced air conditioning systems to generate a convenient atmosphere for frozen food production and sustain a temperature of 10C during production hours.
- Storage Section: Jekor got the flexibility and the advanced storage system to secure a convenient and adequate storage techniques with high capacities in which help in coping with the diverse needs of different markets Jekor exist at.
